How a trade fee is taken

Fees are always paid in ETH, on the bonding curve and after graduation alike.

When you buy

The fee comes off the ETH you send. The rest buys tokens.

When you sell

The fee comes off the ETH you receive.

Example: a 0.1 ETH buy, 2% creator tax

How creators get paid

The creator’s share is sent in ETH to the fee vault contract with every trade. It adds up automatically and can be claimed at any time, to any address, from Earnings.

Earnings go to the fee recipient set at launch, which is the creator’s wallet unless they chose another address.

Guardrails

A token’s creator tax is set once at launch and can never change.
The standard fee can never exceed 2%, and standard fee plus creator tax can never exceed 12%.
