Quick start

What you need#

Gamapad has no sign-up. All you need is:

• A wallet. A browser extension such as MetaMask, Rabby or Coinbase Wallet, or a mobile wallet that supports WalletConnect. See Wallets and network.
• Some ETH on GIWA Sepolia. You pay for tokens, fees and gas in ETH on this network.
• A few minutes. A first trade takes two or three wallet confirmations.

Make your first trade#

1. 1
   Connect your wallet

Tap Connect wallet at the top of the page and choose your wallet. The first time, you confirm the Terms and a short risk acknowledgement for that wallet.
2. 2
   Switch to GIWA Sepolia

Gamapad asks your wallet to add GIWA Sepolia and switch to it. Approve the request. If your wallet is still on another network later, the main button reads Switch to GIWA Sepolia.
3. 3
   Get test ETH

Open the GIWA Sepolia faucet, paste your wallet address and request test ETH. The faucet sets its own limits, which can change.
4. 4
   Find a token

Explore lists every launch, with tabs for Trending, New, Near graduation, Graduated and Top. You can also search by name, ticker or the full contract address. Open a token to see its chart, holders and curve progress.
5. 5
   Buy

In the trade panel, choose Buy and enter an ETH amount. Before you confirm, check the price impact, the fee and the minimum you will receive. Then approve the transaction in your wallet. If the price moves past your slippage setting first, the trade is cancelled and you only pay gas.
6. 6
   Sell

Choose Sell and enter how many tokens to sell, or tap Max. Your wallet first asks for an approval for that amount, then for the sale itself. The ETH arrives in the same transaction.

Launch your first token#

1. 1
   Prepare your details

You need an image (PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 5 MB, shown as a square), a name of up to 40 characters and a ticker of 1 to 10 letters or digits. A description and links to a website, X and Telegram are optional.
2. 2
   Fill in the Create page

Open Create and enter your details. The live preview shows how your token will look on Explore.
3. 3
Choose a creator tax and a first buy

The creator tax is an optional fee from 0% to 10% on every trade of your token, paid to you in ETH. Under First buy you can buy your own token in the launch transaction, as the very first buyer. Both are optional.
