Wallets and network
Supported wallets, GIWA network details and how to switch networks.
Supported wallets
Gamapad works with most Ethereum wallets. Your wallet is your account: there is nothing else to sign up for.
- Browser extensions. MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet and other extension wallets. Installed wallets are detected automatically and listed when you tap Connect wallet.
- Mobile wallets. Any wallet that supports WalletConnect. On a computer, scan the QR code with your phone; on a phone, pick your wallet app from the list.
- No email or social login. Gamapad doesn’t create wallets for you or sign in with email, Google or X. You always use a wallet you control.
Network details
Gamapad runs on one network at a time. Today that is GIWA Sepolia. Your wallet needs to be on this network to trade or launch.
- Network name
- GIWA SepoliaTest network: ETH here has no real value
- Chain ID
91342- Currency
- ETH
- Block explorer
- sepolia-explorer.giwa.io
- Test ETH faucet
- faucet.giwa.io
Connecting and switching
- 1Tap Connect walletThe button is at the top of every page. Choose your wallet from the list, or WalletConnect for a mobile wallet, and approve the connection in your wallet.
- 2Confirm the agreementThe first time a wallet connects in this browser, you confirm the Terms and a short risk acknowledgement. See First-time agreement below.
- 3Approve the switch to GIWA SepoliaGamapad asks your wallet to add GIWA Sepolia if it doesn’t know it yet, and to switch to it. Approve both requests.
If your wallet is on another network
You can still browse, but buttons that send a transaction change to Switch to GIWA Sepolia. Press it and approve the change in your wallet, or choose GIWA Sepolia (chain ID 91342) in your wallet yourself. Always check the network before you sign.
On phones
Some mobile wallets can’t switch networks from a request. In that case Gamapad opens a guided network screen: finish switching to GIWA Sepolia there, then come back to the page.
Disconnecting
Tap your address at the top of the page and choose Disconnect. Disconnecting only ends the session in this browser. It doesn’t affect your funds.
First-time agreement
Before you use Gamapad with a wallet for the first time, a short Before you start screen asks you to confirm two things:
- You agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
- You understand that Gamapad is an independent project, not affiliated with GIWA or Upbit; that tokens are created by users and can lose all value; and that transactions can’t be undone.
Your answer is remembered for that wallet in this browser, so you only see it again on a new device or browser, or when the terms change. If you cancel, the wallet is disconnected. This step is not a transaction and costs nothing.
Signing in
Trading never needs a sign-in. A few actions need Gamapad to know that you own your wallet, and for those your wallet shows a sign-in message to sign:
- Launching a token, before your image and details are uploaded. See Launch a token.
- Joining the waitlist or opening your points and missions. See Waitlist and rewards.
The sign-in message is a standard, readable Sign-In with Ethereum message that names the site and what you are signing in for. Signing it is free: it isn’t a transaction, costs no gas and doesn’t give anyone access to your funds. You stay signed in for a while, so you won’t be asked every time.
Seeing your tokens in your wallet
Your wallet may not list a new token on its own. On any token page, use Add to wallet and approve the request. If your wallet can’t add tokens automatically, copy the contract address from the token page and import it in your wallet. Your balance is on-chain either way, so it is safe even if your wallet doesn’t show it.
Troubleshooting
“Wrong network” or the button says Switch
Press Switch to GIWA Sepolia and approve the request in your wallet. If nothing happens, open your wallet: some wallets show the request only when you open them. You can also choose GIWA Sepolia in the wallet’s network list yourself.
My wallet isn’t listed
- Make sure the extension is installed, enabled for this site and unlocked, then reload the page.
- If you have several wallet extensions, they can get in each other’s way. Turn off the ones you don’t use, then reload.
- On a phone, choose WalletConnect and pick your wallet app, or open gamapad.com in your wallet app’s built-in browser.
A transaction is still pending after a reload
If you reload or close the page while a transaction is waiting, Gamapad remembers it on this device. When you come back, a Transaction waiting for confirmation notice appears with a Check button that looks the transaction up. You can also find it in your wallet’s activity and open it on the block explorer. Check your balance before you try again, so you don’t send the same trade twice.
A transaction failed
A failed transaction only costs gas: your ETH and tokens stay where they were. Common causes are a price move beyond your slippage, an expired quote or too little ETH for gas. See Buying and selling for what to do next.
